Shawn Warmstein is a senior account executive at rbb Public Relations. A former New Yorker (like so many South Floridians), Shawn joined the agency in November and supports a diverse group of the firm’s hospitality and consumer clients including: AMResorts, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa Miami Beach, Costa Maya, the Florida Marlins, Fluenz and Homewood Suites by Hilton.
Prior to joining rbb, Warmstein worked at New York-based M. Silver Associates serving clients such as American Express Travel, the Biltmore Hotel, Emirates airline, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, and VIA Rail Canada. Shawn brings a strong collection of communicative, creative and management skills to the rbb team. He has orchestrated award-winning media relations campaigns including the launch of Emirates airline’s inaugural A380 service and been a part of major events including the re-opening of The Plaza Hotel.
A graduate of the University of Florida with a B.S. in marketing and a minor in mass communications, Shawn served as the president of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity and marketing director for the 2000-member InterFraternity Council.
He is an avid golfer (despite what the scorecard might show), an aspiring foodie (broadening his palate everyday), master of trivia (maybe too much time watching TV?) and a huge sports fan (he bleeds orange and green for the Miami Hurricanes despite going to Florida and was once an honorary bat boy for the New York Mets).
