Raph is the social media strategist at rbb Public Relations and works to effectively execute the clients’ digital campaigns. An energetic info-hound and multitasker, he loves to engage with people online and is endlessly fascinated by the way social media increasingly connects the world.
Originally from Dominican Republic, Raph has lived most of his life in Miami and studied to become a reporter and copy editor before diving headlong into the social media realm. In 2008, he graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in communications and English. Prior to joining rbb, Raph made his bones as the online producer at The Miami Herald and the web coordinator at SOBeFiT Magazine, where he spearheaded the company’s social media campaign.
Raph is a self-professed geek turned up to 11 and an ardent gamer. He is also the drummer in a local band called Francis 7 and plays guitar on the side. (Let him know if you want to jam!) You can often find him talking about movies and True Blood, rescuing stray dogs, dancing merengue, playing Rock Band and (yes) napkin folding.
